Legacy Circle Event - Murder on the Menu at Washington Platform Saloon and Restaurant

Twice a year, the Rotary Foundation of Cincinnati invites the members of the Legacy Circle to a special event to say thank you for their support of our foundation. This fall’s event will be held at Washington Platform Saloon and Restaurant on Friday, November 15, 2019, with a private session of of Murder on the Menu where we’ll explore an infamous tale about a bootlegger, a trophy wife, and a very brief moment of insanity. On October 6, 1927, George Remus, “the King of the Bootleggers,” shot his wife dead in front of rush hour traffic and was tried for murder in one of the most bizarre courtroom dramas in American history. The story will be told during a 4-course menu inspired by 1920’s cuisine. Each course is paired with a George Remus brand Bourbon or Rye cocktail.

Membership in the Rotary Foundation of Cincinnati Legacy Circle is open to everyone, including non-members, who wish to support our efforts in the Tristate area.  Click HERE to learn more about becoming a member today!
